Things do get better…

My days in Pinerolo have been interesting to say the least.  We are removed from the heart of the Olympics (Torino) by about 30 miles, and was the my driver’s familiarity with Pinerolo and English when I arrived.  He drove me around for an hour trying to figure out where he needed to drop me off.  The worst part of the trip, however, was being left in my new home all alone with no phone, translators, or map to the venue.  I was blessed enough to have an Italian lady, who spoke absolutly no English, take me to the venue.  Since then things have been getting better.

I managed to find an Internet cafe last night with a few of my classmates and now I can write to all you wonderful people as much as possible. Speaking of which, this place is closing so I have to go.  I will try to post again soon, I have a lot to say about my trip to Torino today, but for now, farewell.
